2010 has been very Sweeeeettt here in SC, hence our theme for this year

is gingerbread house Candy Land..

Gingerbois are on vacation this year, but we featured our infamous SC Teddy's..meet Sugar Teddy's, unlike Pooh bear, these Teddys only consume high doze of sugar it's no wonder they too turn into sugar ;P Fluffy, white and sweet!

Baby Shower Cake..

It's baby shower time...

No towels needed for this shower.

but when it's edible & comes with cute raffy?

Why not..

Served with a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of milk..

I use a crimper to make the textures of the towels..

to cover the whole cake took me almost 2hrs,

That is after the help of another 2 assistants.. *sigh*

I need a real towel now... ;P

Noah's Ark tier cupcake..

Cute baby Brandon is now 1!

When baby mama asked me to design a Noah's Ark theme, I was estatic.

I've seen arks made out of cake,with the animal's head sticking out the windows on the side of the cake.. I wanted something different.. so i thought of making a cake stand inside the ark, with one of the side of that opens as a ramp...

Sounds like a lot of construction going on.. and it was..

at least my building construction 101 class came to use this time ;P

There are too many kinds of bird species... it's a tough choice,

but we had to break it down to the most important bird to safe...

The Twitter birds.. :)

and so they sailed away...

and chowed down the remaining extra pairs.. :D *cringe*

Noah's ark in the making...

Making the cupcake tier stand

you'll need:

styrofoam/foam core

pvc pipes

duct tape/ large clear tape

cardboard paper

cupcake papers

rullers

pen knife

Draw a rectangular shape, that fits about 6 cupcakes (or more)

using a compass, make a circle on the ends of each side of the rectangle, starting from the midpoint. you will then have an oval shape

first, spread the number of paper cups you would want to fit in the bottom tier,

keep in mind the shape of the ark is top heavy, so this is only the smallest part of the tier.

once you draw out the oval according your desired size, make sure there's room for the columns to support the tiers.

draw out another 2 level by increasing the base size by 1-2inches each.

(The one below is an increase of 1" per level)

after you cut all 3 levels. stack them together.

push each column until there's a hole on each but the bottom layer (the biggest oval)

starting from the bottom up, use a duct tape/clear tape to hold the pvc pipes together

until finally all 3 levels are done.

cut a cutboard paper around the circumference of the oval. secure with duct tape.

then cut out about 5"x6" of the center for the ramp.

TaH Dahh!...

IMPORTANT NOTE! : make sure to clean all pieces of foam that might have stick. use a damped cloth to wipe all surface of the cake stand.

This was a cake order from a lovely girlfriend of a policeman...

She wanted a simple cake of just her and him..

if you are wondering why he's not wearing black/blue..

that's the color of indonesian police uniform.. hmm..

it reminds me of those sheriffs in those cowboy movies ;P

Tripple chocolate cupcakes topped with rice???

It was meant to be rice, but who'd be willing enough to eat them from top of a cupcake, rite.. lol

These are white chocolate sprinkles, cupcake order for a rice mogul..

let the Teddys party in a bed of fluffy fragrant rice... ;P
